I used to work in a woodwork company that specializes in the production of all types of doors. I was assigned as quality checker in the section for internal doors and I would be faced with tough challenge each day. The doors were finely chiselled and smoothened but then the measurements were the main concern. It is useless to have a door that does not fit in the opening so I was expected to compare and take note of the sizes of the doors to that of the standard measurements of doorways. It would take me more than a day just to check the finished items for the week. I usually did the inspection on Fridays, continuing on to Saturdays. It was a weekly routine and it was quite hectic although I was pretty much free for the rest of the week. Mondays to Thursdays were light days for me and all I would do was to go around and make sure the workers were doing their jobs well.
